My Natureluxe samples are in!

That's right!  I am a Bzzagent and recently got a chance to try out the NatureLuxe collection from Covergirl. I received a full sized sample of their new liquid silk foundation and their gloss balm to try out and review for their Covergirl Natureluxe campaign.. They claim it is luxury touched by nature, I agree.
I gotta say, I was so excited when I opened their package! The foundation I picked out was #310 in Flax. It was a shade lighter than my skin color but still looks really good. My favorite thing about this foundation is the feel of it on my face. It is very lightweight!! The second thing I like about it is that it doesn't make my face feel dry. The third thing is that it goes on really smooth and blends very nicely. A big bonus for this foundation is that it has an SPF 10 sunscreen included to protect our skin from those harmful rays during the day. The thing I didn't like about it was that it can tend to look a bit cakey on your face if you have any kind of dry flaky skin, blemish, or peach fuzz on your cheeks. You can't really tell from far away, but my boyfriend mentioned he could see it when he got close to my face. I didn't think it looked that bad and I really like the foundation. I will continue to use it in the future because the likes outweigh the dislikes.
Now, for the gloss balm! I received my balm in shade #215 Hibiscus. I really really love this gloss balm!! The color I was sent is almost the exact color of my lips. I have a problem with very dry, chapped, flaky lips so whenever I buy a colored lip balm it tends to cake up into the cracks in my lips and looks terrible. I did not have that problem with this gloss balm. It went on nice and smooth, added a great hint of color, and just the right amount of shine. It also has an SPF of 15. It felt very moisturizing on my lips too. I am definitely purchasing a few other shades.
Thanks Bzzagent for choosing me to try out these great products.

Here are some pictures of what was included in my Bzzkit, and some pics I took of the products themselves.

CoverGirl NatureLuxe Cosmetics!

Awesome, it hasn't even been a week since I joined Bzzagent and I've already been invited to a campaign! I'm so glad I decided to start reviewing products before being invited!

So I've been chosen to try out the new NatureLuxe line from CoverGirl. I chose the Silk Foundation in Flax, which I hope is the closest I could find to my own skin complexion from the choices available.

I'm really excited to try it out! I have some seriously sensitive skin along with Rosacea so many products bother my face. I did some research on the NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and found that it has very carefully selected ingredients like jojoba and cucumber extract to make it very lightweight. Sounds like it is pretty all natural, stay tuned for my actual review once I try it out!

My first post

Well, first of all, Hi! My name is Marley and I'm pleased to meet you all! I'm a shopaholic! I love cruising the malls, drug stores and department stores for the latest styles and trends. My personal addictions are clothing, makeup and shoes, but I'm also always on the lookout for anything that will suit my fancy. I'm also on a limited budget, like all americans, so I aim to find the best bargains and try to save as much money on my purchases as I can. I'm a big fan of coupons and sales!

I recently became a Bzzagent and decided to start this blog to share my experiences with the products I buy. What is Bzzagent you ask? It's a website you can join to get free samples. They give you a chance to try out the latest new products and help spread the word about them. You receive the product in the mail, try it out for a bit and then write an honest review of what you think about it. The aim is to help shoppers with their research of products before deciding to buy them so they can make smart purchases, and to help product designers change or improve their products!

So along with product reviews, I will also be posting random stuff that I think is amusing or important. Hope you stick around!
